The Red House on-site staff are available 24 hours a day, providing help with day-to-day tasks and the comfort of knowing that someone is always on hand, giving you the freedom to really live life to the full.

All members of the team at The Red House are chosen for both their ability and character and they are dedicated to supporting owners’ introduction to and ongoing life in the village community.

1½ hours’ domestic assistance is included within the service charge, and additional domestic, personal or domiciliary care can be arranged.* Please contact us if you would like further information.

The Red House Team currently comprises two members – Dee Hall, the Sales Manager, and Heidi Harrison, the Sales Negotiator – but other staff will be appointed as the development progresses. Eventually, the full complement which will be required to run The Red House, comprising General Manager, Duty Managers, administration staff, chef, general assistants, and grounds and maintenance staff will be appointed. Dee Hall

Dee Hall
Sales Manager

As Sales Manager for ERL, Dee is dedicated to offering total support and assistance to all our customers, from their initial indication of interest and/or viewing of a property through to the day of completion for those who become owners, overseeing the process from start to finish.

Having spent several years working and travelling overseas, Dee returned to the UK to help set up a family mail order sports company, designing and sourcing all products both in Europe and the Far East. The company was eventually sold and, after enjoying some time out, Dee joined ERL in 2009 as part of the Sales Team at Boughton Hall in Chester.

“The best part of my job is the people I meet,” says Dee. “They are not just buying a property but a new way of life, and it really is a pleasure to see them embrace this in their new home. The Red House, ERL’s second luxury development, is just launching and I’m looking forward to the exciting times ahead.”

Dee is married to Jonathan and they have a grown-up daughter who is currently travelling on a gap year. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and any travel that involves a passport!

Heidi Harrison

Heidi Harrison
Sales Negotiator

Heidi joined ERL in July 2017 as Sales Negotiator for the properties at The Red House. She started working in sales for the Arcadia Group in 1990, managing Dorothy Perkins’ stores in Ripon and Northallerton. After leaving in 2004 to have a baby, Heidi spent a year or so enjoying being a stay-at-home mum before returning to work as a Sales Negotiator, first for Beadnell Copley Estate Agents, then Dacre, Son and Hartley in Ripon.

“I’m delighted to have joined ERL at the start of their second retirement village at The Red House. It will be interesting to be involved in the sales process of properties in this very specific sector where the purchasers’ circumstances and requirements at this stage of their lives deserve the individual and personal attention ERL provides,” says Heidi. “I hope I’ll be able to help many people choose the right property for them and settle into their retirement at The Red House.”

Local girl Heidi, who lived and went to school in Ripon and Harrogate, now lives with her husband Howard, son Henry (who wants to be a policeman) and a lively Cocker Spaniel called Charlie, again in Ripon in their 1930s home which they are gradually renovating.

Kevan Pick

General Manager

With many years’ experience in the service industry, Kevan joined ERL in January 2018 as General Manager of The Red House even before the village opened for occupation, giving him the opportunity to establish the foundations of the community and be involved from grass roots level.

Happily married for 25 years, Kevan and his wife, Viv, have an adult daughter, Rebecca, and a Border Terrier called Brandy. Kevan worked in the fire and security sector for 35 years rising through the ranks from engineer to general manager, then, with his knowledge of security systems, helped Rebecca set up a lone worker alarm business in Scotland. On leaving Scotland, Kevan and Viv found themselves in Ripon where they bought a 1930s property which they have just finished renovating. In his spare time, Kevan enjoys playing golf, fly fishing and spending a day at the races.

“I am thrilled to have joined The Red House, which is virtually on my doorstep, in the capacity of General Manager,” said Kevan. “My time in the service business taught me that ‘service is our best product’ and, as a team, we look forward to making the lifestyle in this magnificent complex, which will provide luxury, security and a vibrant community for many people to enjoy in their well-earned retirement, our best product.”
